Durations aims to connect sensation with experience. Presented by Public Records in collaboration with Pioneer Works, the festival brings together a diasporic lineup of electronic and experimental artists and guest speakers for a series of live and club performances and presentations that push boundaries in music and philosophy.

What types of tickets are available?

Attendees can purchase either A) a festival pass [$130] allowing them access to the full festival 11.7 through 11.10 at both Public Records and Pioneer Works or B) an à la carte ticket to a singular show [prices vary]. Durations is offering a limited number of festival passes before opening up single shows for purchase.

Where is the festival located?

Durations is located at both Public Records, a multifunctional music and social space in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and Pioneer Works, a nonprofit cultural arts center in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Can I attend an event at both venues in the same day?

Yes. Programming at Pioneer Works takes place in the early evening, while programming at Public Records takes place around 9 + 11 p.m., leaving enough time for attendees to travel between venues for the later events.

What kinds of events can I attend?

Durations programming spans both LIVE and CLUB shows, so events vary between early evening multi-instrumental and electronic performances to late-night DJ sets. For its third year, the festival has introduced its first ever lecture series ft. Acid Horizon, a philosophical podcast, which includes a live, in-person recording.
