Roméo Poirier, a Brussels-based musician and photographer who also performs as Swim Platførm, creates highly-textured, hybrid digital-analog sound collages. His debut EP, SURFACES, is inspired by swimming pools; the follow-up, Plage Arrière, Greek beaches. His latest, Kystwerk, is a collaboration with poet Lars Haga Raavand, exploring Norway's coast. Poirier’s work combines industrial clicks and complex rhythms to visualize glimmering reflections of water in all its states.
